Some of you might have heard about this plugin already on sites like KVR. There’s been a lot of buzz around this project. From what I can gather (most discussions about it are in German, not my native language) it’s a synth based on the ACE quasi analog modeling engine (on cirquit level, what ever that means in 0 and 1′s) by U-He (Zebra, ACE etc). reFuse Releases Free Synth “Swarm”

The makers of the excellent sub harmonic synth Lowender now come with a free synth based on the Swarmatron. Most of the other freebies on the website are only for the now defunct pluggo by Cycling74. The Swarm is based around a bank of eight oscillators that start out tuned in unison. Using the Span knob, you can continuously stretch out that cluster of notes from unison to, at the widest setting, evenly spaced harmonic multiples.
